Check out these loose nuts found during an RV inspection on a nearly $1 million RV.

Hello, it’s Jason again with my RV inspection and MyRVResource.com. It’s like the yellow pages for RV services! Check it out today.

I’m coming to you with my Weekly One Reason to get an RV inspection.

Even the most expensive of RVs don’t come without problems. This particular one I’m doing today is a brand new. $842,000 is the asking price. I believe the MSRP is up in the $880Ks.

This thing is beautiful. It’s absolutely gorgeous, but it has problems. And when you’re looking at all those pretty features inside and outside and automatic doors that you push a button and they open and awnings. I mean, you just get lost in things and you don’t find the things that may be important to you that you don’t realize are wrong.

So what we’re gonna do today is we’re gonna look underneath the slide. Remember this is $842,000 and we’re gonna see what’s under there. So this is the gear rack system for this slideout and it’s mounted to the slideout floor. Well, I mean, not very well though. I can literally take my fingers and turn the nuts. Let’s go look at the other one on this mount. I mean, come on, it needs to be tight.

Now this was probably inspected at the dealership or at the manufacturer and it may have been tight then, but this RV was driven 810 miles to get where it is today. 810 miles call it a shakedown, right? And those nuts are loose, probably because of that original drive, possibly because they weren’t torque to spec, you know. Who knows, maybe they should put some lock tight on them.

I’m just here to find the issues. And that’s just one of the, probably 20 to 25 issues at least I’m gonna find on this today. One of the big issues that needs to be fixed. And would you have ever looked at that? You probably wouldn’t have, but anyhow,

I’m Jason with My RV Inspection and MyRVResource.com. It’s like the yellow pages for RV services! Make sure you check it out.

MyRVResource.com. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised if you’re an inspector, a technician, things like that. We have special things on the back end for you of that website, like meetings, training, all kinds of stuff. It’s really neat, but anyhow, my weekly one reason to get an RV inspection, even an $842,000 RV is not immune to issues.

And I forgot to show you the manufacturer data. This let’s go do that real quick. Maybe we take a peek inside. There we go, 5 17 22 was when it was built.

Right. And then, let’s just take a quick peek at what the other half lives like 605 horsepower Cummins in this. Plenty of power to get you down the road.

I mean, absolutely beautiful inside. Stunning! And this is what distracts you. This is what’s gonna distract you from finding all those issues that need to be found. Nice little fireplace there in the bedroom. A televator so you can put the TV down if you’re not watching it.

Look at this huge shower, heated floors, folks. I mean, this thing’s got the works. Walk in closet, all this storage space. I mean, washer dryer. There’s three air conditioners. This thing is packed with all the bells and whistles that nice slide out cabinet.

So, yeah, folks, $832,000 still has issues!

Get your RV inspected before you drive it off a lot. Don’t let the salesperson tell you they’ve never heard of it.

Most of what I inspect is brand new! You can look back through my videos and see that a lot of those that I’m inspecting are brand new, that I’m showing you.

So MyRVInspection.com, that’s us. We’re the only Master Certified RV Inspectors in the state of Florida. And there’s two of us, not just one!
